disappointed now is a culmination of nostalgia, memory, acceptance, and growth. Drawing heavily from the visual and sonic language of the late ’90s and early '00s, the album blends pop, synth-driven production, darker electronic textures, and modern beats into something familiar without feeling stuck in the past.
Across the record, it explores heartbreak, emotional exhaustion, disillusionment, self-worth, and the strange process of realizing that growing up rarely looks the way you thought it would. The project balances bitterness with acceptance, and nostalgia with the uncomfortable truth that some things are better left behind.
At its core, disappointed now is about looking backward without wanting to live there.

Bio
After more than a decade away from music, Little Rock, Arkansas-based independent artist SAINT! returned in 2026 with little interest in picking up where he left off. The years away had changed both the music he wanted to make and the reasons he wanted to make it. Rather than chasing perfection or trying to fit neatly into somebody else’s idea of what pop should be, he began writing about the messier parts of life: heartbreak, loneliness, self-worth, exhaustion, anger, bad decisions, and the uncomfortable process of figuring yourself out after you thought you already had.
Blending emotionally candid songwriting with sharp hooks and a sound rooted in alt-pop, synthpop, electronic music, and late-’90s and early-2000s influence, SAINT!’s music lives somewhere between dancing through the problem and finally admitting there is, in fact, a problem. His 2026 releases marked a creative reset built less around perfection and more around saying the uncomfortable part out loud.
Now, SAINT! is preparing to release Disappointed Now on December 11, 2026. The album pushes his sound further into atmospheric synthpop and emotionally direct alternative pop while exploring memory, heartbreak, acceptance, and the uneasy space between missing the past and wanting it back.
At the center of SAINT!’s music is a simple idea: pop can be fun without being empty, and vulnerable without becoming delicate.
